CREATIVE STATEMENT
My love of puzzles and games started back in the ‘90s when my family used to vacation in remote Canada every summer. Our cottage by the lake was full of outdoor fun but on rainy days, with no television and no Internet by design of my parents, we turned to the many jigsaw puzzles, card decks, and board games to keep us entertained. Now, thirty-plus years later, I love playing games with my husband and two children. It’s a joy to introduce them to puzzles, classic card games, and board games. My bright and airy watercolor illustrations often capture the spirit of my favorite destinations. And these scenes will allow gamers to travel the world without ever leaving their dining room tables.

What advice do you have for puzzle makers or game players?
There’s nothing better on a cold, snowy evening or a blustery day than breaking out a good puzzle, some tunes, and a warm beverage! I always sort my pieces by color first, and try to pick out any patterns I see to sort into sections, while my husband swears by starting with the edge pieces.
