CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in illustration begins with nature. Over the years, my expertise in illustration has developed due to drawing every day. As an illustrator who specializes in nature landscape I nurture this focus by feeling the four seasons and folding those feelings into my artwork. What I love most about illustration is its ability to express emotion with color.

Q&A
What is your favorite sound from nature?
While walking in the forest, the movement of small leaves swaying in the wind is so lovely. I hear the wind whispering to me. The sound of the wind created by nature is the sound that makes me breathe.
Which do you prefer: fields or forests?
The view of the wide open fields is beautiful, as is the forest with trees lined up toward the sky. Both forests and fields inspire me. Both are precious.
What is your favorite season?
Korea has four distinct seasons. It's so beautiful. I like all four seasons in Korea. If I had to choose, I prefer fall because I usually enjoy trekking in the forest.
