CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am an artist and illustrator with a passion for drawing since I was a boy: especially in greetings cards from drawing my first Christmas card for charity during school. Ever since school, I have been illustrating greetings cards for family and friends, and now I am selling them in my local community in Penarth. What I love about illustrating greetings cards is being able to share my artwork with people wanting to buy them to give to loved ones at home and abroad.

What is your favorite occasion to illustrate?
I think my favourite occasion to illustrate greetings is yearly occasions, e.g., Birthday Cards, Thank You cards etc, so that they can be kept up on the shelves and selling throughout the year. I also like illustrating seasonal greetings cards, e.g., Christmas, Easter etc.
Which card do you still keep on your desk?
I keep spare seasonal greeting cards on my desk throughout a year until I can sell them upon the approaching seasons, e.g., Christmas Cards, Easter Cards, Valentine's Day etc. Aside from my own cards, I keep a good luck card gifted from former friends and work colleagues from my last day at my previous job as a restaurant guest waiter.
What is the most unique card you ever created?
It's hard to say. I think all the cards I illustrated are unique in different ways. But if I have to make a pick, I'd say the Welsh-themed 'Thank You/ Diolch' and 'I Love You/ Caru Ti' are the most unique cards I've ever created so far.
