CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am interested in both the natural world and the world that we create within it. I like to capture nature and then compliment it with items that relate to our culture and history. My work celebrates the little moments in a big way. I am not afraid of scale or color and use both regularly in my pattern designs. For me, the two most important qualities of a successful surface design are its ability to create a story or mood and its ability to enhance physical items.
