CREATIVE STATEMENT

My passion for patterns and surface design was sparked following the completion of my BA in Illustration. It stemmed from a deep-rooted curiosity for the interplay of colors, textures, and the mesmerizing allure of repetition. Over the years, my expertise in this field evolved through ceaseless exploration, merging conventional techniques with cutting-edge technology to elevate my craft. Focused on textile illustration, I derive profound inspiration from the splendor of nature and the rich tapestry of diverse cultures, infusing storytelling elements into my designs. To me, the essence of successful artwork lies in the intricate harmony of details, textures, and a nuanced palette of colors. To continually nurture my skill set in this discipline, I commit to daily drawing sessions. I meticulously study flowers for reference while simultaneously engaging my imagination, ensuring a constant evolution and refinement of my creative abilities.
