CREATIVE STATEMENT
Making art is what makes me feel alive. It comes from a desire to create that has been with me forever. Colour is a principle element in my work, applied in layers and textures to achieve depth, creating a sense of joy and calm. Inspired by nature and seasons, my signature botanical, floral and organic forms are always present.The interplay between colour harmony and contrast results in a vibrancy between objects and the space around them. By paying attention to detail, subtle rhythms are evident. My objective is to produce authentic artworks that engage the viewer, allowing them to connect emotionally. Artworks are created with acrylics and mixed media, with a selection becoming digital repeat patterns.
