CREATIVE STATEMENT
I have been interested in illustrating from the moment I could hold a pencil. However, at first, I chose theatre design as a profession with a strong link to illustrated stage designs. I now specialize in collage illustrations from hand-painted paper with an additional black line drawing here and there. The papers I use for my paper-cuts are always recycled and come from all imaginative places.
I would describe my style as bold, quirky, and playful. Other people tell me my illustrations have soul and make them smile which is the best compliment I can ever get.

What is your favorite sound from nature?
Chirping birds on a late winter morning giving away spring ís coming even when visual signs are nowhere to be seen for the human eye just yet.
Which do you prefer: fields or forests?
This is a tough one. There is no winner. I love the smell of the forest and worship the old, huge, majestic trees but I also adore the endless views over a field and seeing so much of the always-changing sky.
What is your favorite season?
Spring! For me, Spring stands for hope and I like hope. Every spring is a new beginning and when nature can start over fresh every year, we humans can too. We tend to forget that. Spring is a good reminder.
