CREATIVE STATEMENT
As an illustrator who specializes in flowers and plants I find endless inspiration in the Rocky Mountains just outside my door. My spare time is spent camping and hiking and venturing down the road less traveled. In a short distance I am able to experience everything from desert succulents to alpine wildflowers to ancient evergreens. This time spent observing color and pattern in nature is essential to the work I create.

Which flower do you draw the most?
Wildflowers! I live for wildflower season in the mountains.
What grows in your garden?
I recently converted a large section of lawn to low water native plants. It's been wonderful watching them thrive.
