CREATIVE STATEMENT
My passion for illustrating florals began when my family bought a home with a large garden. Exploring its shapes and colors sparked my love for creating designs inspired by nature. I enjoy transforming floral forms into unique patterns for wall art, textiles, and decor, blending creativity with client briefs. A successful illustration balances meeting technical requirements, being visually appealing while telling a story. Gardens remain a favorite source of inspiration, alongside daily practice, trend research, and exploring new ideas. My goal is to bring the beauty of nature indoors, making spaces feel like a sanctuary.

Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
I often include flowers with great structure, such as Waratahs and Magnolias, but I also like to draw imagined floral and plant forms.
What grows in your garden?
My garden holds deep sentimental value, with plants from my mother, past homes, and those inherited with our house, making it a space full of memories. It’s home to a lemon tree, passionfruit vines, and native plants that attract birds like Rainbow Lorikeets, Cockatoos, and Magpies, as well as skunks and possums. We’re working to add more shade, creating a cool refuge and vibrant sanctuary for wildlife and ourselves.
What do flowers symbolise to you?
Flowers embody beauty and vibrant colour, infusing my garden with joy and energy. I love capturing their essence in my floral art and patterns, bringing that same uplifting spirit indoors. It’s a way to celebrate nature’s charm and keep it close daily.
