CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in food and cooking began when I was in primary school and mum would always bake something sweet for us when we came home from school. She would always get me to help, which has developed into my love of baking, and eating cake! What I love most about food is its ability to create and be associated with memories, as well as the vibrancy of color and smells when you look at a table laid with delicious food. For me, a successful food illustration is drawn or painted by hand first, is colorful, inviting and visually appealing.
