CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in children's illustration began when I was a child, with Disney classics and the Brothers Grimm. I cultivate this interest through contact with nature, my travels, and my life as a mother. What I like most about illustrating for children is that there are no creative limits. For me, the two most important qualities of a successful children's illustration are creativity and color palette. I practice daily and have the best inspiration I can get: my children.
