CREATIVE STATEMENT
I am a brand illustrator focused on telling stories for food, beverage, and hospitality clients. My interest in illustration began organically from my career as a designer wanting to create deeper connections between brands and their customers. The most important qualities of a successful illustration are contrast and clarity. I gravitate towards bright colors, simple lines, and large flat shapes to create bold and tasteful imagery—think midcentury with a twist! I love learning about new methods and materials that can keep each new project looking fresh and relevant.

Q&A
What is your favorite logo?
I've always loved the MIT logo. I am drawn to Modernism and simplicity first.
Which brand do you most admire for its use of illustration?
Airbnb does a great job using illustrations to connect with their customers and hosts in an authentic and personal way. I really appreciate how much they value design—it shows across all of their platforms.
What packaging would be your dream job?
Trader Joes! I would love to design enticing packaging for customers to discover, that's half the fun of shopping at TJs. Having the brand be secondary to the product seems like there would be lots of creative freedom to play with styles.
