CREATIVE STATEMENT
Like most people, my interest in children's book illustration began as a child. Over the years, my expertise in illustration has developed due to working as a freelance illustrator and getting the chance to work on many wonderful children's books. These range from board books to pop-out activity books to kid's journals. What I love most about children's book illustration is getting the chance to create fun characters and imaginary worlds with lots of color. To create a successful children's book I believe it's important to create imagery that makes the child want to read the book over and over again.
