As an illustrator who specializes in food illustrations, I nurture this focus by spending a lot of time in the kitchen cooking, baking, and bookmarking new recipes. What I love most about food illustration is its ability to highlight the beautiful and thoughtful ways we nurture ourselves. To create successful food illustrations, I believe it’s important to make it look delicious.

What fruit or vegetable do you most love to illustrate?
I love to illustrate the tomato – a fruit that is often mistaken for a vegetable!
What is your comfort food?
Noodles of any kind. Italian pasta, soup noodles, cold soba noodles. Any kind of savory, carb-y noodle.
What is your favorite beverage?
I love a good tea – green, black, herbal, latte. I love it all, especially in a pretty vintage porcelain teacup.
