What I love most about fashion and beauty illustration is its ability to affect how a person feels about themselves. As an illustrator who specializes in fashion and beauty art, I want to create a world with art and products where people can see themselves as the main characters of their own lives.

Which do you prefer: cozy or glamourous?
Glamorous! I love any opportunity to play with fashion and create art out of getting dressed. I also love looking at glamorous outfits people come up with that really show their personality.
What is your favorite fashion time period?
The late 1950s-1960s. There was so much playfulness in fashion in that era.
What brand do you admire most?
I really admire what Rodarte has done as a modern fashion house. There’s so much creativity and gutsiness, and unapologetic femininity in what they create.
