CREATIVE STATEMENT
Nature has always been one of my greatest inspirations for my art. Over the years, my vibrant paintings and patterns featuring florals, botanicals, and other natural elements have found their way into numerous creative projects, such as stationery, books, packaging, and apparel. My illustrations are created using traditional painting techniques with digital accents, aiming to produce artwork that is intentional, engaging, and evocative. What I love most about flora and nature is their ability to bring a unique narrative and atmosphere to an illustration. A simple plant motif or decorative floral border can transform the mood of any piece and give it lasting appeal.
Q&A
Which flower do you draw the most?
The Lotus flower was the first flower I learnt to draw, and I’m still enjoying drawing and painting it today! I also love painting imaginary flowers, inspired by magnolias, daisies, and tulips.
What grows in your garden?
Many potted trees and plants—a lemon tree, an olive tree and banana leaf plant. I also enjoy growing chillies, tomatoes and Tulsi.
What do flowers symbolize to you?
For me, flowers symbolise the ever-changing seasons of life and nature. They embody resilience and hope, rebirth and energy, beauty and strength.
