CREATIVE STATEMENT
Whether it’s spending time with everyone and anyone’s pets, bird watching, or going on a hike with the hopes of catching a glimpse of the wildlife, my world has always been filled with animals. As an illustrator who specializes in animals and wildlife, I am continuously nurturing this focus by observing animals and sketching them, each time finding a new detail to draw.

What animal do you most relate to?
I love the slow and methodical nature of the Humpback Whale. I love how peaceful these large and powerful animals are, and how peaceful it is to watch them when I get lucky enough to spot one.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
I love drawing dogs! As a proud dog mom of a goofy and delightful German Shepherd, I know how much joy our pets bring us and I love capturing that in my illustration work.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
I am both a dog-person and a cat-person (and, really, every other kind of animal person). I think all animals each have their own charm, and I love interacting with all of them!
