CREATIVE STATEMENT
Since childhood I have expressed my love of animals through illustration. I enjoy representing the character I find within each animal as well as rendering their shapes, colors, and textures. I make a regular practice of observing and sketching to continually develop my skills. For me a successful illustration relies on feeling rather than overly strict representation.

I most relate to the cat, as I am cautiously social and love a warm sunny spot.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
I enjoy drawing all the animals! Each one has something special.

I am a lifelong cat lover for sure, but I do also enjoy dogs.
