CREATIVE STATEMENT
My love of illustration started while I was rendering designs in architecture school, and later, working as an architect. I spent a significant portion of my free time drawing and developing my skill, obsessing over digital illustration and all of the tools I was familiar with. As a professional freelance illustrator, I find the most joy in drawing from my outdoor adventures and sports.

Do you draw from a model or your imagination?
I typically draw during or after my trips outdoors, often referencing my photos while trying to only capture the necessary details to maintain a minimal look and feel.
What is your favorite activity to illustrate?
I really enjoy illustrating everything to do with skiing - the movement on the slopes, ski gear, snowy landscapes, all of it.
Where do you find inspiration for new people and poses?
I draw from a lot of personal photos, capturing and looking at different poses to get the climber pulling on the crimp just right or the skier hitting the jump and twisted in a logical way.
