CREATIVE STATEMENT
I’ve always loved drawing since I was a kid, so it was only natural that illustration became part of my career. I believe we’re all kids at heart and that illustration sparks something in our inner-child. That’s why the use of illustration in branding makes the product more personable and unique to consumers. As a graphic designer, I have experience working with maintaining client’s guidelines while adding my personal style. I also hone in on my skillset by experimenting with art outside of the digital world, such as airbrushing and painting.

What is your favorite logo?
I love when logos are unconventional and playful, breaking the rules of “clean” or minimalistic design. For example, I love the MTV logo because it’s easily recognizable while introducing a hand-drawn/DIY feel to the “TV” typography .
Which brand do you most admire for its use of illustration?
I love the way Nike is constantly working with artists to create unique campaigns across all their different projects. Whether it’s a local pop-up, mural, or to launch a new shoe. Their illustrations are always bold, vibrant, and reflective of local culture.
What packaging would be your dream job?
A makeup kit or beverage packaging.
