CREATIVE STATEMENT
My interest in illustrating animals and wildlife began at school where I loved to paint. I have always loved design and after school, I went onto the London University Of The Arts to study Illustration, specialising in creating playful, quirky animal and wildlife characters, full of colour and life. Over the years, my expertise in animal illustration has developed due to working with some amazing clients and publishers across the globe. I love nurturing great customer relations whilst creating fun, animal and wildlife characters. What I love most about creating animal illustrations is being able to convey sensitive emotions and feelings within the animals, and at the same time, illustrating them as fun and quirky characters, appealing to both adults and children alike. To maintain my skill set, I keep up to date with new technology, take regular courses to improve my techniques and just continue to draw and paint every day.

Q&A
What animal do you most relate to?
I love giraffes, in particular their sense of calm and gentleness, whilst also being strong and confident.
What animal is the most fun to draw?
I absolutely love drawing animals and would struggle to narrow it down to one favourite, but I recently illustrated a book with flamingos doing yoga which was very fun. I also love drawing lions, but in general, I'd say any animals doing fun activities.
Which do you prefer: cats or dogs?
I like both but if I had to choose, I'd go with cats.
