CREATIVE STATEMENT
I have been drawing as long as I can remember. As a kid, I drew to show my creativity and express my love for fiction through fanarts. In college, I took Animation as my major and have briefly worked as an animation artist. My experience in Animation has influenced my desire to work on telling and interpreting stories. I know that good visuals can be very impactful in the storytelling process, and I aim to do my very best to be able to translate words into the best pictures that they can be.

Amelia's Notebook by Marissa Moss.
Which authors do you admire most?
As a kid, I really did enjoy Marissa Moss's books, and the Amelia's Notebook series format was something I really found to be unique.
What characteristic really brings a children's book to life?
For me, it's the expressions of the characters that really make the illustrations to be effective.
